Room Doctor's trundle bed frames are designed to fit underneath most platform bed frames. Having a trundle bed can be the PERFECT space-saving solution for when you have guests or your children have sleep-overs. If you have guests often, it certainly makes life easier. Our trundle bed frames have wheels that make rolling the frame out for use a breeze, and rolling it back for under bed storage is just as easy. Our trundle beds are very strong & durable, and represent a fantastic value in home furnishings. We use solid pine wood slats for the trundle deck, and they will provide you with ample strength and support while keeping you off the floor. The trundle bed frame comes ready-to-assemble, and assembly is so easy! There are no tools required; the allen wrench you need is included. If your bed frame meets the following requirements, it will work for you. You will need a bed frame that has at least 10.5 Inches in under-clearance from the floor to the bottom of the bed rail. Your bed frame must have an Inside Clearance (left to right) of 74.5 Inches in length for the trundle to fit. The inside slatted platform sits 3 off the ground, so we recommend using a basic futon mattress no thicker than 7-8 Inches to avoid conflict with the upper bed. In the event that you are purchasing this Trundle Bed with one of Room Doctors Pine Platform Beds, we do offer a lift kit for our matching platform beds that allows you to raise the upper bed to a specified desired height, giving you more freedom with the choice of mattress used in the trundle. This Trundle will hold a standard Twin Size Futon Mattress or a Conventional Bed Mattress that measures 38 x 74. Just what we needed, at an incredible price. Trundle went together easily, is sturdy and well made. We also love that it is solid wood and not particle board full of chemicals. This was a great find.

I ordered this for my daughter. It was very easy to put together and she has no problem pulling or pushing it under her bed.

Bought this so my sons could have separate beds as we are limited on space and bunk beds were not an option. It was very easy to assemble, less than 1/2 hour and works perfect with the 6" foam mattress we had.

I needed to find a trundle to go under my daughters bed that was raised up with the raisers. I searched long and hard on the internet to find something that would work, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it either. I found this trundle and read the description where the ocmpany states that they wll do their best to meet our needs. AND THEY DID!!!! It turned out I needed a custom size trundle and mattress!!! The representative who helped me was excellent! She called me back with an answer to my questions, customization options, pricing etc. I was truly amazed that I was able to make it happen( with a custom sized trundle and futon mattress!) at how easy it was to deal with the representatives and how willing they were to help. The word SOLID cannot be associated with Dream On Me. I purchase this toddler bed from Baby's R uS and hated it from day one. I tried to like but as I was putting it together it just felt flimsy and later I would find out how dangerous it would become. I almost cracked a rib kissing my little one good night on his first night transitioning from the crib to this bed as the footboard snapped off and the remaining jagged edge meeting my rib cage. A very traumatizing event for my sons first night on his new bed. Till this day, he keeps reminding us of "daddy's booboo" because after many tries to get the foot board replaced, the pieces just don't align at all. Thus we still have that jagged edge (TRUE STORY). UPDATE: 8 months later the side rail has cracked. Going to try the P'kolino Toddler Bed which it states can support up to 300LBS but even if it doesn't it has really great review on AMAZON with regards to its SOLIDNESS.

My 2 1/2-year-old absolutely loves this bed. I ordered this when it was on back-order and it took several weeks to ship. It was fairly easy to assemble. There were a few nicks in the wood when it arrived, but in overall good shape. My only complaint about this bed is the drawer... it is too tight against the bed and makes it difficult to open and close. Once it's open it slides smoothly. Maybe that's a good thing though so my toddler won't be tempted to constantly open it and mess up everything inside!

Our son loves his bed. It was easy to assemble.
When it arrived our son "helped" with assembling and transitioned from crib to bed without any tears. He slept in it from day 1.
The storage drawer is very shallow and can only hold a very thin blanket or sheets.
The quality seems very high. There is one spot where the blue paint peeled just a bit.

We purchased this bed and received it within 2 wks which was not bad. The package came all tore up and we were hoping nothing would be broken inside. The bed is ok, once assembled it's sturdy enough for a rough toddler. There were a few pieces of wood that were slightly cracked and several places where the paint was chipped. One piece of wood did not have the holes it needed it get assembled so my husband had to do that himself.

Bought this toddler bed for my daughter. She is very active and rough. We have had it for about 2 months now, and we have had no problem with it at all. Paint job was good. Assembly was a little of an issue. Make sure that you are one hundred percent sure you are putting the rails on correctly. I had to attach, unattach, four times, because the wood is not labled. Stickers would have made it much easier to know which side was up or out. Eventually my husband and I got it. The hardware to attach the pieces made the multiple reassembly easier, and we didn't strip screws. The drawer glides smoothly. I was a little disappointed with the footrail. There is a crack in the wood, that was painted over. It is not smoothed out, I am sure it was a deffect in the wood, but they didn't try to make it any better, they left it how it was. I have had no problem with that piece being any weaker though. Overall the bed is perfect for my 2 year old. Would buy again.


UPDATE: Owned for year and a half now. Still in awesome condition. My 3 year old is very rough on it. Would recommend to anyone and would buy again.

We bought this trundle bed for my son's room. It is perfect, very sturdy and easy to put together. It took me 30 mins to an hour to get it all set up and I am pregnant. The bed is all wood, I didn't like the knobs for the trundle bed so we bought ones that matched my son's dresser and night table and it all looks very nice. Almost like a pottery barn bed without the high price. We researched a lot before buying this bed and we are really happy with it. Make sure you buy an 8 inch mattress for the trundle or it won't fit, we bought one made for bunk beds and trundles which is 8 inches and it fit perfect.
