What People ask about Wood Loft Beds
Should I buy or build a loft bed?
Laura aksed: I'm thinking about getting a loft bed for a very small room. I'm not sure what size I want yet. The site I'm looking at getting one from would be $450 after shipping and accessories, and then I'd have to put it together. http://www.collegebedlofts.com/order_lof t_bed.html
The accessories I'd like to put on whether I build it or buy it would be a towel bar, clothing rack (or two), accessory and clock shelves, and bookshelf headboard. (see site above to see what I'm talking about)
I've also thought about building one myself, but I'm really unsure. I have no building experience. My dad has tons of experience, but may or may not be able to help me. I could probably get my friends/boyfriend to help me, but they don't have any experience either. Also, I don't have access to a saw, so I can't cut my own wood. Can I get wood cut at a lumber yard? How much does it usually cost (the wood and the cutting)?
Based on these things, should I go for it and try to build my own, or should I fork over the $450 and buy it pre-made?
How many days or hours does it usually take?
I don't really like Ikea stuff because they're too expensive for what you get, IMHO. I also don't want a metal bed. I like solid wood furniture. :)
answered: Do you have the time to build one? It's a great project to do with your Dad, and I'm sure he'd love it. On the other hand, it is very time consuming.

Candy :) aksed: I'm redoing my room and the walls are almost complete. See my room is nature themed, so I have a lot of wild flower such as these ones that are made out of scrap wood which was cut thinly into flowers, it's really pretty. But I also want it to be eco-friendly and/or eco-friendly-ish. Is there a place with fabric or eco-friendly accessories, such as throw pillows?(I found a good site but it had given me a virus =(, which I've finally gotten rid of =D)
Well the most important thing is that I get to paint a mural on my wall, but I'm not sure whether I should do flowers or a tree. See I'm going to have a little reading area, and have 2-3 of the japanese paper lanterns and was thinking I could do a tree, having like the illusion of the lanterns hanging from it, or the flowers, because the ones I'm thinking of doing are really pretty.
^^^^Do you think that would be over powering the flowers?^^^^
If this will help to say what is floral in my room, here's what is floral:
Storage boxes, this cabinet thing (really pretty)
flower (of course =D)

A few pictures
Some porcelain accessories (vases, candle holders, etc.)
I will take any advice for this, I really want my room to be good.
PS- do you think that maybe I should have this bedspread instead:

If so, where can I get it? I'm only 13 and have a loft bed so would this one be better for a loft bedspread or not?
Sorry for it being kind of long, thanks and bye =D
