The bed is AMAZING! So cheap, so comfortable, took one hour to assemble with a friend, we used a hammer because we lacked a mallet. It is unobtrusive, comfortable- sometimes I think I can notice the middle support bar in the bed but may imagine this and it doesnt change how comfortable I am. Warning: don't try to carry the package yourself- I missed fedex delivery, went to pick it up at the fedex store and carry it home, and this proved almost impossible.

It's a touch cheaper than Ikea and quite solid. You can safely ignore the people who talk of spending hours and lots of effort putting this together. Two people, half an hour, no mallet, just push them into place with the palm of the hand. The allen key required is supplied in the package, takes little time and effort to assemble, though two people are a help for sure.

The box it arrived in (take a look at the size and weight, it's a big box) was badly beaten up, but everything looked fine when I unwrapped it other than one scratch on an inside (not showing) part. The packaging is not very good, and I imagine that there are many returns as a result of shipping damage.

It's nice and solid. Should work out fine as a bed frame to get away from those hideous box springs.

One of the slats got broken in 2 days and I asked help from the company if there are any spare slats. I guess they do not have any customer service. They did not even reply after resending the e-mail. Poor customer support.

was interestingly surprised by the support given by this frame. good value for price. great for extra bed in home .. saved cost of a box springs .. husband says great support for back and side sleepers .. assembly not to difficult.

I've had this bed frame for almost 8 months now. After taking my Sealy Posturpedic off the floor and placing it on the bed frame I definitely noticed the sleep became firmer. I'm guessing this has to do with the upward facing slats. I'm sure many folks like a firm bed, but if you're like me then you want a soft, cushy mattress. I learned to live with it but I slowly noticed my mattress was sinking in the middle. There are two reasons why this could have happened:

1) The mattress is old. It's about 6-7 years old, supposed to last 10.

2) There could be a fundamental design flaw in the bed frame. There are two rows of upward facing slats, leaving the middle part of your mattress not as well supported as the sides. Think of your mattress sitting on the McDonald's logo. It has nice support on the sides but a little dip in the middle. Granted, there is a metal beam in the middle but if you go underneath your frame and press on your mattress between the slats vs near the middle beam you can tell that the sides are definitely getting more pressure.

There are other bed frames w/high clearance sold here on Amazon that are fully FLAT and rated highly. I am going to try my luck with one of those. Happy sleeping.

This bed seriously took 2 minutes to put together, it's awesome! It looks adorable in my daughter's room and she LOVES it! This bed will suit her for years to come and it is gender neutral so it can be used with our next child down the road. It is sturdy, safe and a fantastic bed for my toddler, I know even as she grows this will still be an outstanding bed for her. It shipped quickly, arrived sooner than expected and it is obviously well put together. I will be purchasing coordinating furniture in the future! I can't imagine buying other kid's furniture now after how incredibly easy this was to assemble! Buy this, you won't be sorry!
