Off of the living room is another cozy alcove turned into a his-and-hers office space by Sandy Newlson and Carol Schaper. On the opposite side of the living room you will find a warm and luxurious solarium complete with a bar for evening cocktails. The kitchen boasts an outdoor patio for alfresco dining, as well as an eat-in area. The kitchen was designed by Wayne Watson and has a very clean line, yet adheres to the age and style of the house. The adjacent eat-in area was designed by Maria Jacobi and Elizabeth Bartolone. It has a dragon fly, black and white theme and coordinates easily with the kitchen. A bit of functional whimsy is creatively thrown in, with black empty frames on the wall that serve as shelves for the salt and pepper shakers and a colander.
