The bed arrived quicker than I expected. The guy at UPS even carried it all the way to the room for me. It took a bit of time to assemble, but not over an hour, for 2 people to put it together. Now that I have been using it for a while, it proved to be very sturdy. The edge of the bed is a bit sharp, but I am not sure about the size of my mattress, so I wouldnt complain about this. I thought it was a good deal, as described in by the producer.
Simple, sturdy and good price
So far we like this bed frame, it's simple but looks good and match with most furniture. The frame is very sturdy, it's very heavy though. We had to move it from one room to another and it was a pain. For the price, this bed frame is one of the best.

I needed a platform bed to match some white bedroom furniture, since I no longer wanted to deal with box springs. I was getting a memory foam mattress and thought this would provide a good solid support surface. Found this one on Amazon at a very attractive price. Simple and functional. Some online furniture stores are selling this same bed at 3 times the price --so shop around folks! The box arrived torn and crushed in one corner, however it was packed and reinforced well with foam, so no damage to the contents. If you are expecting fine wood, this is not for you as bed is made of particle board. It is solid and sturdy. Box is extremely heavy, so we opened it and removed the boards a few at a time and never had to lift the carton.

It took 2 of us about 1.5 hours to assemble. Instructions could be bit better illustrated, but pretty straight forward. The edge molding goes on reverse of what you would expect on the side pieces. Hardest part was making everything square, so I recommend using a squaring tool.

Very pleasantly surprised to find this item was made in in North America and not a cheap import!

Great bed for a young kid
We bought this to replace a toddler bed for my three-year-old (along with the matching headboard).

I am happy with the product overall - the only criticism I have is that the drawer bottoms are a thin, almost cardboard-like material instead of the thicker board like the rest of the bed, and I don't see that holding up to kids for very long.

One of the long, thin boards that run above and below the drawers was broken in half when it arrived (more than likely from shipping, though the packing seems like it should have been adequate). We called for a replacement and received it quickly, no questions asked. Luckily it was not a support piece, so we were able to assemble the rest of the bed and use it in the meantime. The manufacturer definitely makes an effort to prevent damage with lots and lots of support and packing material.

One thing to note is that when you open the package, you may notice some pieces that are not the right color. I was alarmed by this at first, but in with the instructions you will find a note that explains that some non-visible pieces of the bed may arrive in a different color, in order to save money and resources. I actually think that it's a great idea (why waste pieces that don't "match" if they can't even be seen?) but it can be a litle unnerving when you first see it.
Amazingly simple product
This is an amazingly simple product. The asembly instructions were very well written and that made the job lot more easier.

Pros:

1.Easy assembly
2. Good looking
3. 2 Drawers store good amount of clothes
3. Excellent customer service

Cons:

1. The product is little too fragile, I got my first shipment with 3 broken parts. When I called customer service, which is superb in terms of response and delivery, made sure that the product parts are replaced within 5 days.

2. The upper part which holds the mattress could have been little more strong, I am scared to even sit when daughter is going to bed.
It is ok for the price.
For the price, it is a good buy. But not that easy to put some parts together and fix them. And not a strong bed also, hope it is good for a year or two.
excellent customer services and great price
I bought 2 of them and 2 parts of one set were broken. I called South Shore Industry for the replacement of the parts. They replaced the parts without any question, and I recieved the replaced parts within a reasonable delivery time. Excellent customer services!
It is easy to install. My husband and I installed the first set by following the instructions. After the replaced parts arrived, I installed the second set by myself.
The quality of the bed is OK considering the price. I think it was an excellent deal! I am very happy that I bought two of them.
Good for the money
We bought this bed for our 3 year old son and didn't want to spend a fortune so this was in our budget. I opened the box and started the bed together and I realized how flimsy the material was[...]
Once I realized it wasn't worth it, I finished putting it together and set it all up. Turns out it looks pretty decent, even better than I thought.
Putting it together was very straight-foward and took about 2 hours by myself.
Anyway, if you're looking for inexpensive, faux wood, Ikea quality furniture, this one is not bad. It looks very nice though.

I've recently discovered that I'm very talented at writing English poetry (pay attention that I live in Iran and English is a foreign language to me). I'm working on my 13th poem. Some of them turned out to be really good. The number of lines varies from 28 to 72. My style of writing doesn't fall into any usual english format. It's my own style. I'm going to put a few stanzas of my 10th poem for you "randomly" (for security reasons) and get feedback from you. As native speakers of English, do you enjoy this style of writing? If you do, then I don't have to listen to my profs and try to write just like real english poets. Pay attention that if you don't see a message, it's because you're reading some parts of it not the whole thing:

I had a dream of three celestial beings
They told me I was going to be the king of kings
They offered me to get on their white wings
To take me to a place where a sad man sings

8th stanza:

One of the beings put me down on a marble platform
Beside the crowd I was standing by a ghostly form
He approached and announced me as the king of kings
I was taken to a golden throne by one of the beings

12th stanza:

Little by little I started to hate my deeds
I was planting the self-annihilation seeds
Gradually my hatred turned into madness
After a while it was replaced by sadness

14th stanza:

When I woke up, I was lying on the bed
I thought I had slept the sleep of the dead
I remembered the message, it was as clear as day
Pride would work against you day by day
