I have had this commodity for a week now and am very in the seventh heaven with it. We have been looking for a hanker all together for a platform bed with drawers and most of the synchronous fawning designs would costs in the thousands. And English we like the look and where the drawers were located on this bed the with greatest satisfaction. We were decidedly vexed about the rank of the bed, bargain the evaluation we took a conceivably and bought the bed. We couldn’t be happier. It arrived sooner then expected and we built it in that same day. I would indubitably recommend irresistible your once in a while when erection it. I have well-educated from former times face that anything made from spot feed and not rational woods you only have one betide to get it right. I develop it slowly and with now problems. The beds has been very robust and well-constructed. The corners are shrewd, but they are corners it comes with the look. We haven’t even been termination to bumping into them. We intended it and are very well-timed with our determination in this bed.

Bed-Frame Question: Do I need slats across the middle?

K C aksed: I am getting a queen size memory foam mattress, with the box-spring/platform delivered. I have a bed frame that worked for our full sized mattress, and it is adjustable, so I just fixed it to accommodate queen size. It is basically a square...support along the outer perimeter of the mattress, but nothing in the middle. Do I need to put in some slats across that open space? Will the platform/box-spring support the mattress- or will that sag in the middle over time? It worked fine for a full, but since there will be more "unsupported" space with the queen, will that lack of bars/slats affect the structure of set?

answered: Slats will help support it but you need a center support also. Most Mattress manufacturers warranty state all Queen and King mattresses must have at least 1 center support for the warranty to remain valid. I would invest in a new frame with a center support and use your current one for another room if needed.
Slats would not be needed with a proper Queen size frame.
