I have very thick mattress and want to convert my metal frame into platform, can that be done?

I dreamt that I was in the London Underground (not sure which station) waiting for a train and as I'm walking along the plaform, in a little cove (which we don't have in our underground system, kinda looked like a cave) were kids playing football. I wait at the other end of the platform. The ball gets kicked onto the tracks and 1 child decides to go get it and touches the live rail. I don't see any of this but, I hear the sound of the body being jolted twice by electricty before the train pulls in and I smell it, the buring metal smell when Metal gets too hot. I don't look, I just cry and get led out of the underground by hand. Before I am led out, I see a body out the corner ofmy eye and thats it. It woke me at 4am because I was so disturbed by it. I was watching football before I went bed and nothing to do with the morbid nature of train suicides.
Also when I woke up, I saw a light trying to get into my room through the sid of a window, it was moving the way gas lamp moves, it looked so thick and then the room looked âs if heat was rising from the floor. I know upon waking some people continue to hallucinate and I put it down to that. But it was strange as hell.
I am a spiritual and not religious person. I was abused as a kid. I had a fear of trains because of this recuring dream (only it envolved no child). I am not at risk of suicide, infact this last 3 years life has been wonderfull. Tomorrow marks an important day, 1 year sobriety, that might have something to do with it. But what you said, without any details, made plenty of sense.
The light, it was like smoke and light, it was full and thick and moved how a flame or gas moves trying to get in. And the air in my face looked like a heat wave, it moved. Very weird. I wasn't afraid, I just closed my window and couldn't sleep afterwards.

Are you yourself at all suicidal? I ask because you mentioned the dream being suicide related. Or has someone you loved recently commited suicide? Are you having problems with your mother? Have you not spoken to her in a while? Have you or someone you love recently had a miscarriage or lost a child? Are you religious? Were you abused as a child? Are you recently divorced? I'm sorry these are all so personal, but dreams are in our minds and you really can't get any more personal than that.
I believe based on this dream alone, without any of the above information, that you are waiting for an outside force to come and take you somewhere else. Perhaps you are waiting for the right time to do something, or for someone else to make the first move. You feel that your childhood was too short or that childhood and innocence itself is too short. You are now an adult looking back on it and you find that it went to quickly, and you feel you failed somehow and don't want to think about it. You feel that the person or force that was supposed to guide you only caused you more pain and harm, and that it is more their fault for your failure because you were an innocent child at the time. And you feel as an adult that you are getting the reprocutions of this failure and you want to give up and let someone else do it all for you.
I feel that if any of this is true, and I'm sure as you read you will know what I am describing immediatelly if it is true, that you should confront whatever person, or ideal, it is that is bothering you.
If you feel that I am entrielly incorrect and you are religious, perhaps try to pray or meditate on the dream, or ask a trusted spiritual leader. A Priest or Rabbi. If you are not religious, try thinking on it for a very long time and asking a good friend to help you.
