I had to saw my box fount in half and zigzag my mattress like a pretzel to get them to the third deck, when I moved out I couldn't even get the halved box pop back down the steps. It ended up a stockpile of rubbish at the restraint. I lived in a trinity for 12 years, it is unceasing compromise between the perfectly of a trinity and the neediness to depend on the press you mull over you require. I put a bed with box on the later deck by sending it through the substantial back window. It was doable since it wasn't that prodigious. A routine out of keeping with ladder on the motive will non-specifically get you fusty enough to archaic the box to personage receiving it through the window. If you have old windows, winsome them out is travail however. Third confuse? Recall it. I scarcely moved out of a trinity after 8 years. I started with an ikea bed and mattress. The bed...
Massive crib recall includes several major manufacturers....is your child's ...
Several manufacturers are participating in a massive crib recall of primarily drop side cribs. If you think you have one of the products listed below, please click on the link to read the entire recall notice which will include more information, including pictures and contact information for each company. If your crib is included, do not use it with your child. Find a safe sleeping environment for your baby and follow the instructions for repair or replacement.
Between 40,000 and 50,000 Child Craft brand "Crib ‘N' Double Bed" full size stationary-side cribs with dowel are being recalled. Many of these cribs are model number 36101. They were sold between January 1998 and June 2009 for between $600 and $650. If the stationary side is installed upside down, it creates a dangerous gap at the top of the crib. Several children have been trapped in this gap, one nearly strangled. An incorrectly assembled side would look the same as a correctly assembled side. Please read the entire recall notice for specific directions on how to determine if your crib is put together correctly, and what to do if it is not.

Bed-Frame Question: Do I need slats across the middle?
K C aksed: I am getting a queen size memory foam mattress, with the box-spring/platform delivered. I have a bed frame that worked for our full sized mattress, and it is adjustable, so I just fixed it to accommodate queen size. It is basically a square...support along the outer perimeter of the mattress, but nothing in the middle. Do I need to put in some slats across that open space? Will the platform/box-spring support the mattress- or will that sag in the middle over time? It worked fine for a full, but since there will be more "unsupported" space with the queen, will that lack of bars/slats affect the structure of set?
(Total weight for 2: 325 lbs)
answered: Slats will help support it but you need a center support also. Most Mattress manufacturers warranty state all Queen and King mattresses must have at least 1 center support for the warranty to remain valid. I would invest in a new frame with a center support and use your current one for another room if needed.
Slats would not be needed with a proper Queen size frame.
