The NeckPillow by Tempur-PedicTM The NeckPillow by Tempur-PedicTM is recommended for those who desire not only a better night's sleep but also need a more therapeutic sleep posture. The dual-lobe design supports the curve created by your head, neck and shoulders to properly align your spine and give you a perfect night's sleep! It is important that you choose the proper pillow thickness based on your shoulder dimensions and sleeping position preference to promote an anatomically correct posture. A pillow that forces your head too high or allows it to fall too far back not only places stress on your neck, but could inhibit breathing. Size Chart Each pillow includes a 3-year limited mfg.warranty. While memory foam products come with many great benefits for your health, they also come with something else; a semi potent initial smell. When you first open your memory foam product you will notice that is has what appears to be a faint smell of gasoline. This smell will naturally dissipate over time and is non-toxic. Once the smell has gone away, you will be able to experience all the benefits of having a memory foam product. Pillows and other comfort items are non-returnable and DO NOT have a tryout period.

Not a pain in the neck
I've had this pillow for about 2 - 3 weeks so far. I have a bulging disk in my neck and I was having neck pain and stiffness on waking for some weeks. Even when I went to bed feeling ok, I woke with a painful neck and shoulder. So I bought this pillow and to my surprise I've had no neck pain at all since! It doesn't seem like much ... just a foam pillow with that rather odd shape, but it seems to work for me. Reading the other reviews, I guess it depends on how big your head is and what exactly is wrong with your neck. I'm a small woman and the foam seems quite firm but comfortable under my head and neck. Apparently it keeps my neck in a 'neutral' position so it doesn't aggravate the bulging disc problem as my old down pillows did.
buy directly from Tempurpedic and save $100 !
The pillow is great (I have a small size). However, the listed vendor ("Neck Pillow") on this Amazon site is charging twice the cost of what Tempurpedic charges for. Go to Tempurpedic website and save $100. This is ridiculous...
TempurPedic Swedish Neck Pillow
This is a very nice pillow for sleeping on your side or your back. Be warned: It takes a few weeks to break it in!!!
After that, its an amazing pillow! (Try sitting on it while watching tv to help the break-in process)
Not Worth The Ridiculous Price
I have been a loyal Tempur Pedic pillow user for almost 20 years. Recently, my husband and I accidently left our pillows at a hotel while traveling. I had forgotten how expensive these pillows are. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $200-300 to replace 2 pillows. Try the NovaFoam Pillows from Costco. $20 apiece and they are as good as the Tempur Pedics we have had for all these years.
Of course !!!!
I've had my tempur-pedic mattress and pillow since 2000. Bought this pillow to replace initial one. Of course I love it, it's a tempur-pedic. My son and daughter in law threw out their "knock-off" brands and FINALLY bought these type pillows too. They love them. I'd never putchase a "knock -off" mattress or pillow. No how No way. As "Bob" says in his commercials.

Can be good, depending on what you are looking for
I got this pillow over a year ago. Considering it was only $30, I wasn't expecting a miracle. In that sense, I was not disappointed.

However, one thing to watch out for is that the memory foam morphs back pretty quickly; so when you put your face onto it, the part thats in contact with your face sinks in, but the area surrounding your face rises up, and sometimes partially covers your eyes/nose if you sleep on your side. I found this annoying, but that is my own bias. If thats not a problem for others, then this pillow is not bad.
This thing has nothing to do with memory foam!
I'm still testing the pillow, but by the feel of it it looks like it doesn't fit my particular neck, head etc. I'm a pretty average size woman (173cm height, 65 kg), but the pillow is clearly too small to rest my head on it. The front contour is way too high to sleep comfortably and the pillow's inner concave is too small to rest my head in it, because the top of my head touches already the contour on the other side of the pillow. Some people complain that their pillows smell, mine luckily does not. But as for memory foam - it's clearly not memory foam pillow. It's just a foam that does not have the qualities that make memory foam pillows so desired. Since it will not contour itself by your head and keep the shape, it doesn't also have the health improving effects associated with the usual memory foam pillows. Which is not to say it's a bad pillow, just don't buy it for qualities it doesn't have.
Really Works!
I got this item based on a recommendation. I was suprised how much this item has improved my sleep and stopped my morning backaches.
Excellent Pillow
Bought this pillow for my wife. She loves it. Says it is very comfortable and definately helps keep her neck and back properly aligned as she sleeps.
Nice pillow - initially stinky!
I originally purchased one of these pillows, and then another a month later for my wife.

The pillow has two different sized "humps" on either side with a depression in the middle for your head to rest in. Basically, if you've never used one of these pillows, you pick whichever "hump" feels better resting your neck on. No matter how you sleep (back, side, stomach, hanging upside-down) all you do is make sure your head lies in the depression and the "hump" is pressing right into your neck.

The pillow comes with a zippered case, but I highly recommend that you use your own pillow case over the included one. It's easier to remove and launder your own case.

I read another review of this pillow (I think it was this one) where the reviewer was complaining about how "lightweight" the pillow felt, even though it says it's a "3-pound" pillow, so he sent it back! *containing my laughter* The pillow's foam density (3 pound) has NOTHING to do with its physical weight. 3-pound density refers to how dense/springy/stiff the pillow feels to your head when compressed by weight. I would call this "medium" in my limited experience with these type of pillows.

Here's the number one downside to this, or I will assume any, foam pillow. The SMELL! The enclosed sheet instructs you to place the pillow in an area to "air out" for 24-48 hours to let the odor subside. This is a complete joke.

Here's what I would do if I were you...

Remove the included cover and wash it -- don't put it back on the pillow yet.

Place the uncovered pillow in a room, or even out on your deck where it can't get wet and LEAVE IT THERE FOR THREE WEEKS! The smell will go away with time.

Place the cover back on the pillow, including your own pillow case, and enjoy.

Obviously, I would buy this pillow again, because I did already.

very satisfied
I just gave it a try and Im very satisfied I dont have neck pains and shoulder pain after using it , true there is an odor from the material but it lasted only for less than a week .I will recommend this kind of pillow expensive but it is worth the price .
Overpriced and Lumpy
These pillows are way too expensive and you cannot return them. They are lumpy and hard. I cannot sleep on them because they hurt my neck. Total waste of money.
Way too hard
Let me start by saying that I love my tempurpedic mattress; I think it was one of the best purchases that I ever made. Also, my husband loves this pillow, would give it 5 stars, so YMMV.

Simply put, even though this is supposed to be the soft pillow in the Tempurpedic line, it is way too hard. I used it for 3 months, and every single morning, I woke up with the worst headache. I finally had to give up and go back to my old down filled pillows, which is unfortunate, because this was really good for my neck.

If you like a VERY FIRM pillow, you may find this product useful.
This thing saved my neck. Literally!
The old adage, "You get what you pay for." is very appropriate in this case. After one, yes ONE night of sleeping on this pillow, the stiffness and pain in my neck is noticeably less.

I must've aggravated an old injury in my upper back while at the gym recently. As such, for a week straight, I was waking up in pure agony. It felt like an icepick was being shoved into my spine at the base of my neck. So, do I keep downing Advil like they were M&M's or do I try to find a real solution? I started by telling myself that the lousy pillows I was using was doing nothing to heal this recently revitalized upper back injury. I had no intention of buying a Tempur-Pedic pillow at all, really. I just wanted something that was thicker and firmer than what I was currently sleeping on, pillow-wise.

I'll tell ya, folks, I went into the local mattress-superstore and test drove a few pillows and for the life of me, I could not get uncomfortable with the Tempur-Pedic. I not only kicked its tires, I ground the gears, slammed the doors and tried to blow out the speakers. And nothing I did convinced me that plunking down this kind of cash was anything but a solid investment. Nothing! My test drive was unshakably comfirmed last night. My litmus test was when I began to sit up and was at about a 30-degree angle and that icepick that had so recently tortured me, was now gone. There's still a residual cramping in my back and neck, but did I expect this pillow would "cure" me overnight? No. Talk to me in about a week, however. Something tells me that I'll be ready to resume my breakdancing lessons again. Buy this pillow.
No Need To Count Sheep
I love sleeping on the comfort pillow. It is extremely comfortable and provides excellent support. When you lay back, other parts of the pillow do not pop up into your face; everything remains the same except your head is in a great position. It is easy to relax and fall asleep--I do not find myself tossing and turning like I often do with other pillows, punching the pillows, looking for just that "right spot". The only negative thing is that it is heavier than other pillows to lift and move. That is a small price to pay for an evening of peaceful sleep.

***Do not confuse with the TravelComfort Pillow, which is wonderful but is much smaller in size and appropriate for a support pillow, not for sleeping.

Surprisingly good pillow
I am a side sleeper with snoring problems. When we purchased this pillow we did not use it for a week because it was so small and soft. "How could this possible be of any good"? was our first thought. I had a memory foam pillow that was firmer and more supportive and regular firm pillows before that. Who would have ever thought that this small, soft, foam pillow would work so well. It supports my neck so that I no longer need to ball the pillow between my shoulder and neck. It is soft enough that there is no pressure against my neck and supports my head in an upright position. The support from the pillow has given me two important benefits; no more snoring and I sleep like a rock. My nightly twisting and turning has also been greatly reduced. Of course everyone has different needs and this pillow works great for me!
To Thin
I should have gone with my gut before buying this item and known that something regularly $100 wasn't going to sell for $20 unless it wasn't any good and they were just trying to get rid of their inventory... sure enough I may as well have thrown the $20 out the window. It's way to thin to give any support at all, and once you lay on it... it of course becomes even thinner and worthless. I wouldn't not call this a memory foam pillow... it's just foam.
"Foam" not "Memory Foam"
Wow! I don't often write reviews, but had to put out there that this pillow is NOT what it says it is! It seems like it's just plain old foam, no "memory" in sight! I have been sleeping on memory foam pillows for years, but I used to use a brand from the now defunct Linens n' Things. Looking for a new pillow, as my last old one is on its last legs, I looked to Amazon (Bed Bath and Beyond doesn't have a real thrilling selection) and thought this one would be great - I could not have been more wrong! A cheap poly-fill pillow from Ikea is heavier and heavier duty! And this pillow holds no shape - it collapses flat when you put your head on it! You might as well sleep with no pillow at all, you get that little support from this thing! I'm not sure in what version of the world it would be worth $99 - it's maybe worth $5!
It is pretty small and lack support.
The material is pretty good but it is too small to support an adult. I have to put another pillow below this to make it feels comfortable enough to sleep. I would not buy it again even though it is only $20.
An XS pillow
If you are looking for an extra small pillow, maybe for a toddler, then you may want to consider this pillow. If you are looking for a pillow for an adult, look elsewhere. This pillow could be a good buy if it were at least 50% larger, wider and thicker. I bought it based on other reviews and I couldn't but laugh when I opened the box! So tiny. I did not return it expecting it to be comfortable, but it was not. There are other pillows that sell for $50 (isotonic). I will go for one of those and throw this one away! I simply wasted $20.

A Waste of Money - NOT memory foam
If you are considering purchasing this pillow as an inexpensive alternative to a real Tempurpedic, keep looking. This isn't it!!! I have a Tempurpedic mattress and pillow so I have something with which to make a comparison. This is not memory foam. To call it memory foam is misleading and actually deceptive. It is extremely hard and firm and does not mold to my head the way my Tempurpedic does. It is uncomfortable and too thick. The bottom line - it is totally useless. The sad thing is that I am stuck with it because it is not returnable. I bought this pillow to try to save money. In the long run it will cost me $40 more to buy a real Tempurpedic pillow because I wasted that amount on this pillow. If you really want the benefits and comfort from a Tempurpedic, buy a Tempurpedic. That is what I should have done in the first place. That is what I have to do now. This is a terrible product, a total waste of money!
Possible chemical particles
Seeing the attractive price on an alternate company for memory foam, I jumped on this. When I got this pillow, it was much heavier and much more firm than I expected. Thinking that I just needed to break it in, I tried to sleep on it until it got softer. One problem. After using it for about a month and a half, I started developing this chronic coughing. It wasn't serious, but I was coughing throughout the day because of some irritation I felt in my throat. I reverted back to my older pillow and the cough subsided in a day.

I'm beginning to worry that there are some chemicals in the pillow that we are not made aware of. The tag on the pillow gives absolutely no information, not a very reassuring sign. It's way past the return period, plus, the shipping costs will probably be the same as the pillow itself. Seeing how this is causing me to cough, my only option is to simply dump it. Seeing the problems that it gave me, I really can't give it away.

If you don't have a sensitive respiratory system, then I guess you can still use it. In the end, it wasn't for me. You sometimes really do get what you pay for.
Pretty good neck support.
This pillow works fine for me. I struggle with pillows not having proper neck support. Either they are to flat and offer no support or too fluffy and still flatten out with very little support. At the end of the day I need a pillow that will support my 200lb body and give my neck support. I've tried $10 pillows and I've tried $100 pillows with very little success. I tried of couple of other so-called memory foam pillows and returned them.

It's the best pillow I have found to date. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because I don't think it's absolutely perfect. There should be a better pillow out there but, I have not discovered it yet (maybe my expectations are unrealistic).
Memory Foam Pillow
The shipping was tremendously fast and the pillow is great, feels just like a tempur-pedic. Thanks!
Loved this pillow
I received this pillow within three days of order.
And was very pleased that it was what I was looking for. I have a smaller one and was looking for a bigger one,
this one was perfect. Don't be afraid to order this, if you like this type of pillow.
