What People ask about Latex Pillow
Could my baby be alergic to Latex? Is it normal for a two month old to have a stuffy nose and sneeze a lot?
♥latxbed♥ aksed: We just got a all Latex Mattress, and she sleeps in the room with my husband and I, and I nurse her a lot on it. I have had to use that bulb thing to clean her nose out every morning. She sneezes too, but not a lot. She just seems upset like she is having trouble breathing through her nose sometimes, even when I'm nursing her. It is just little white boogers that I get out, it's not like her nose or eyes are running.
She has had some of these symptoms even before the new mattress, I guess I am just overly worried for her.
Additional details. I know from research that only 1% of people are alergic to latex, and the process(washing) in which these mattresses are put through eliminates 98% of the proteins that cause the alergic reaction. The mattress does not have the powder on it like latex gloves. Plus My mattress has a thick zippered cover over it. So we are not in direct skin contact with it.

answered: doesn't sound as if she is . . if she isn't breathing noisily any other time and you are able to clear her nose, I wouldn't worry. She is due for a check-up soon?
I take it that this is your first child :-) What a good, attentive mom U R !
