Accent wall color for a yellowish-green comforter?

Nicole aksed: I bought a yellowish-green comforter with a white foliage pattern from target for my very dark brown-almost black bedroom set with a relatively high profile headboard. I bought 2 plum colored throw pillows for contrast and plan on using bright white damask sheets. The knobs on my furniture are silver, the lamps on my end tables are silver, and my carpets are an off white. Im having a lot of trouble deciding whether my accent wall should be a very light tan or a light-medium gray?? If I do gray I would add a gray throw pillow in with the plum. Please help!

Emily M answered: I think gray would be perfect, probably light-medium like you suggested. The tan could clash with the comforter since tans usually have some yellow in them. You could look at tan/gray ("greige") type colors too. I don't think you need another throw pillow to tie in the gray since it's a neutral color, but if you found one you like, it couldn't hurt! Sounds pretty!

scruffy ;-D aksed: ok im redoing my room at my dads house let me describe my room first..
~the first wall is a big desk/dresser/shelves that almost covers the entire wall (except for some spots)
~next wall is my big window (left side of the desk//?/?)
~then the other wall is blank...just a wall (where my bed will go) (btw; left side of window)
~next my closet
~my door is in like a 3 ft hall way thing between my closet and desk thing)

wall A- (the desk wall) it going to be light green
wall B- (window wall) pink and white strips
wall C- (blank wall) going to be purple................IDK IF IT SHOULD BE LIGHT PURPLE OR PURPLE
wall D- (mirror wall) pink and white stripes
section E- (hall way) green

there will be a light blue stripe across the middle of my room and below it is white

my decoration is
1.a mirror on my doors to my closet/ or behind my door in the small hall way
...on the mirror will be my name going up
2.paper lanterns on string of lights and hang that above my closet doors (the colors are going to be green,purple,blue,white, and possibly pink??)
3. 16',12',and 10' paper lanterns hanging on a skinny metal bar...colors will be (2) white, (2)light blue,(1)light green,and (1)light purple
4.the left corner of wall C will have a benbag in it and a small white bedside table
5.on my wall im going to a have a thing hanging to put my pictures in so that everyone can see them
6.my bed spread goin to be green with light blue sheet under, a purple throw pillow's with blue soft pillows
7.by my desk im going to get a chair and a rug
8.btw im getting a daybed.....

i say both places are very good, the only roblem is if the door gets slammed shut or opens too fast it could hit the wall or fall off, so i say the closet

you can never be too kiddy lol we should enjoy being kids while it lasts cuz i have friendsthat are adults now and they say its fun but they miss the old days

well you have a lot of light and bright colors so i think you should use a light purple
