Good Value
I bought a king size a couple of weeks ago and liked it so much that I bought this one for my mother. This mattress is even more comfortable than the 10" king size. I have spent some time shopping memory foam mattresses locally and this mattress is as good as any and better than most I looked at in shops and stores. Like with mine, her only complaint was this mattress is a bit too warm but I adjusted to it and stopped noticing it after a week or so. So far, so good. If her impressions change, I will edit this review.

Well like me, she adjusted to the warmth of the bed. She says she doesn't even notice it anymore. She says she has less back pain and sleeps longer between wake-ups. I recommend these mattresses, they are a rare bargain.
Best mattress I ever slept on!
I had bought a 10" Queen DynastyMattress for my daughter (previous review) and she loves it so I thought I'd give one a try. I replaced my $200 cheap spring mattress that I bought less than a year ago with a 12" Full DynastyMattress. As I mentioned in my previous review, I have never slept on a memory foam mattress before so I knew I was taking a chance. I've always thought that they were too hard.

This mattress arrived about a week after I ordered it and uncompressed in a few hours. Yes, there is the smell but it didn't bother me and went away after about 3 or 4 days. The first night it seemed a little different than a regular mattress but I woke up without any back pain for the first time in over a week. After that, I forgot I was resting on memory foam and it just seems like a regular mattress to me. Not too firm and it springs back when I change positions. My wife really likes it but says she won't get one because her old Temper-Pedic made her too hot at night. I don't notice that but I like being warm anyway.

Long story short, a sizable investment at $500 but worth every penny so far. No back pain and very comfortable. If I can get 5 years out of it I'll be very happy.

I am not going to write about the smell, b/c it is there and everyone says that. It will go away. I am not going ot write about frustrations with Fed Ex, b/c that is not an actual review of the item. But I will say that having researched memory foam mattresses to death this one does not dissapoint. It is so comfortable and there is barely a difference between this and tempur-pedic. I was really apprehensive about purchasing this online...I mean how crazy is purchasing a mattress like that?? Trust me, it is worth clicking purchase. The moment this hugs your body you are hooked. It might also be worth looking into a platform bed. This thing is huge! It towers over my nightstands. So that's my take...great price, great mattress, decent delivery time. How can you beat no taxes or shipping? I figured even if I didn't like it, a $500 guest room bed wasn't bad!

My 7 year old loved the memory foam mattress that we hauled out for our futon every time we had company. She begged us to let her sleep on the futon instead of her bed because she was so comfortable. I wasn't sure how this would work out because our other memory foam mattress is about 6 inches thick. We bought this and immediately unwrapped it and left it outside to "air out" as others had suggested. It had a vinyl type smell but was gone in a day. Once we put it on my daughters twin mattress, she was in heaven! She loved it. I highly recommend this for bunk beds or other beds that don't have the box spring mattress underneath. Just a mattress can become hard and you start to feel the springs after a while. This really made my daughters bed comfy. Surprising because it was only 1 1/2 inches thick. Would definitely recommend!

i have this actually 2x of these on my bed...i love it but i think i will buy 2 more. they are only $55 at any walmart and you don't have to pay shipping. 2 make it comfy and 2 more should make it perfect. the 1 1/2 are the only ones that are true memory foam. watch for larger and more expensive ones that are a blend.
Serta 3-Pound "Memory Foam"? Mattress
I sleep with a Nova memory foam mattress topper (bought from Costco in Canada) and found it very good. This summer I sublet an apartment for a couple of months and ordered a Serta 3-pound memory foam (supposedly a memory form) mattress topper. It was already on the bed when I arrived at the apartment. I immediately felt that it was not actually memory foam. Then I looked at the actual topper and found that it was just foam, which is quite different from memory foam. I definitely would not recommend this particular brand. In my opinion, the label "memory foam" was a false label.
Too short
This works well for where it hits the body, but it is way too short, stops at the knees, it is not as long as a twin bed. It was also difficult to unroll after it was delivered, it sticks to itself so had pull it apart and get it to lay flat.

I bought this product for my daughter's twin bed because she was always saying that she loved laying on my bed. now she likes her bed even more than mine! that's exactly what i wanted. i am more than pleased. she says it is like 'sleeping on a cloud.'

Great Mattress At A Bargain Price
Per Overnight Mattress' customer service, this mattress is exactly the same as the one available on their web site but it is significantly cheaper here on Amazon because of a difference in the guarantee for the mattress. The mattress comes with a 120 day return guarantee but return shipping isn't included if you buy it here from Amazon, but if you buy it from their web site it is. So if you are reasonably sure that you are going to be happy with this mattress you can save a good chunk of money by buying through Amazon.

I found a mattress at a local bed store called "Back to Bed" that had the same cover and the same number and type of memory foam layers. I was able to go there and try out the bed there. I don't know if it was the exact same mattress but, if it isn't, I can't tell the difference. They had the bed for well over 2x the price as here on Amazon. The salesman there offered to come all the way down to $800 for their mattress, but that is still $300 more than here.

After a couple weeks of using this mattress I am *very* satisfied with it. It is very comfortable, I have been sleeping better, and the pinch I would get in my hip when sleeping on my side with my old mattress has stopped bothering me. My wife says she is sleeping better too. I feel like I got a great deal on this mattress.
Great mattress!!
So I'm going to write the kind of review I was looking for before I ordered this mattress. I always read other reviews feeling like I was missing information. Was the man or woman overweight? elderly? A back sleeper? I never felt like I got a good review to make me feel confident in my purchase. This mattress is 500 bucks. That's pretty cheap when it comes to mattresses but there's also a problem with getting it returned. They say you can return it...but there's no way to get it back in the package it came in so it's pretty difficult. At any rate, I bought the mattress for a number of reasons. I'm a hot sleeper, I don't have a lot of money, and I needed a queen mattress for a platform bed. The mattress came and was delivered in about 2 days from the day I clicked the order button. I opened it up and it expanded within minutes. It does have a smell to it that has dissipated in the past week...but that's expected with any memory foam mattress. I have a memory foam mattress in my guest bedroom that I tried to use as a comparison for this one. I was hesitant in ordering it because the mattress in my guest bedroom made me sweaty and made my hips and shoulders hurt. Here's my sleeping/body information. I'm 6'2, 190 lbs, athletic build, a side sleeper and I sleep hot. This mattress has been wonderful for me. I don't get sweaty during the night and manage to wake up feeling refreshed every morning. The mattress is nothing like the other mattress I have in my guest bedroom....it's soft and provides a great nights sleep for me.

Just what I ordered
I think that this item is just what it's explained to be. I hate how the crib mattresses are so hard/you feel the coils so much. I wanted some extra padding. This has helped...although I think that I would like one made that was a bit thicker...maybe a 3" topper.

Doug answered: A frame is the metal support system that connects to a headboard or a headboard and footboard. The main thing you want to make sure of is that the queen size frame has proper center support to keep the foundation from sagging. The foundation is used in place of a box spring and they look identical. As far as the style... you can use anything you want. Modern, Victorian, Country etc. Doesn't matter as long as the foundation is supported.

Tempurpedic beds need a solid surface to sit on. When you buy a set the box "spring" is just a board on a frame. And you can't use slats as the foundation as that will ruin the mattress. So just be sure you buy something with a solid top and you can then use a regular metal bed frame.

I think the Ikea platforms have slats.
