Masontown infant's death being probed

Police in Fayette County are investigating the death of a 6-month-old baby in Masontown.

District Attorney Jack Heneks Jr. said the cause of death for Arianna Elizabeth Barton of 3 Court Ave. is pending the results of an autopsy.

Heneks said Arianna's mother, Kelly Rhome, found the infant unresponsive at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday on a mattress that had been placed on the floor of the two-bedroom apartment. Arianna had been sleeping on the mattress next to her 4-year-old brother.

Rhome's sister, Brittany Wegman, and Wegman's two children, ages 1 and 2, were asleep on the same mattress, Heneks said. Rhome was sleeping on the floor next to the full-size mattress.

Rhome began administering CPR while Wegman called 911, Heneks said. The infant was taken by ambulance to Uniontown Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 7:15 a.m.

No the Twin XL will not fit on a Full size bed. The twin XL means extra Long. You can however, use a Queen Comforter on a Full Bed. The Twin sizes whether they are average or XL do not have the Width that is needed for a Full Bed.
