I almost made the huge mistake of buying this matress thank my lucky stars i did not. For I found it was made in China. A little FYI China does not give a flying china mans kick about your health they have made products out of toxic trash. Do you really think your getting a high quality safe product from CHINA!!!... I received the mattress from Dynasty Mattress via UPS 11 days ago. Before ordering, I called Dynasty and spoke with a nice fellow in California. He had a Chinese accent, but he spoke English clearly. I wanted to know if the air-vacuumed package had the size marked on the outside before I opened it. He said it did, and it did. He told me the mattress was made in China, and would take 4 days to ship from CA to GA. It took 5 business days via UPS.

When it arrived, the UPS driver rang my doorbell, and presented his electronic pad for my signature. When I wanted to actually see the package before signing, he seemed put off. He climbs into his truck and basically drops my mattress into the street on its end. I checked for the size, and the Cal-King was checked. I also could see the packaging wasn't damaged. I figured it had been dropped a few times from CA to GA anyway.

Now he looks at me like I'm going to take it from here. From the street, down my driveway, and into my house. I say, "don't you have a hand truck?" Now he tries to pick the package up to his shoulder. Ain't gonna happen. The guy is about 160 lbs, and the package is every bit of 110 lbs. Long story short, he gets his hand truck, and we get it in my house.

The package is, like I wrote, every bit of 110 lbs. It is 6 feet tall and about 18 inches in diameter. There are two layers of clear plastic sheeting around it. I was able to put it on my own hand truck and go up my longish stairway (20 steps) by myself. I would not suggest a female or small person trying this. It's a bit awkward.

Once in the bedroom, I put it on the box springs, cut each plastic layer off, and unrolled the mattress. It has a zippable top cover, and the rest of the mattress is in a permanent cloth sack. It took a few hours for it to completely inflate.
The final thickness was 11 inches. My old contour sheet and pad barely fit.

There was a slight smell. I thought it was like wet latex paint. I opened the windows and ran a fan for 2 days. The smell was completely gone in 8 days. I received the mattress at 2 pm, and slept on it that night. No headaches, or anything like that.

As others have stated, the mattress is soft and cradles you. I was looking for this, and I'm enjoying it. It's a definite improvement over my 20 year old Serta Perfect Sleeper. My back was aching every morning, and I could feel the coil springs. My back isn't aching on wakeup now. It's not a miracle, but it is nice. It feels plush and inviting. I like it.

$700 is a lot to gamble on an internet mattress. It is for me, anyhow. So far, everything is "as advertised."

I just received this mattress 1/2 an hour ago. I haven't slept on it yet but I wanted to give a comparison to the Tempur-Pedic Deluxe model since this listing says it feels like the Tempur-Pedic Deluxe. Earlier today my wife and I went to a mattress store that had the Tempur-Pedic models and well as the Sealy Posturpedic. Prior to getting this mattress today we laid on all the Tempur-Pedic models and all the Sealy Models. You can definitely tell a difference between each model in each line. The Tempur-Pedic Deluxe is the most comfortable to us. We laid on the mattress and tried to really absorb the feeling and memorize how it felt. We came home and then this one was delivered. To both of us, and to our great pleasure it feels exactly the same. No better, no worse - exactly the same.

It was easy to set up. The cover is already on all the different layers. The mattress itself is delivered rolled up and it is heavy. I am guessing it weighs 120 lbs at least though I could be wrong due to it being large and bulky and hard to handle. To set it up I just put the roll on the bed, cut away at the plastic it is wrapped in and in 5 minutes it had unvacuum packed itself.

One comment I would like to make regarding this mattress and the return policy. The sellers state they will accept a return if you are not happy with it, but you will be responsible to ship it back to them. In the event that you do not like this mattress, keep in mind that you WILL NOT be able to ship it back to them in the same manner that they shipped it to you because they had the entire roll incredibly vacuum sealed and it was rolled like a rug. I think it would be next to impossible for you to roll it as tight and as small as they did unless you have some huge industrial vacuum machine so your shipping charges would be much more than theirs. But if you are concerned you won't like it go find a mattress store that sells the Tempur-Pedic Deluxe because like I said, it feels exactly the same.

It is not often customers get the chance to complement a vendor services.

I want Amazon to know what an extraordinary service I received from this vendor. He went beyond customer service in his willingness to correct the order. I would recommend him not only to anyone looking for a excellent product, but Amazon should be aware of the high quality of the service I received.

Just purchased the mattress and have been sleeping on it for a week. They must have corrected the ordor they were talking about in the preivous comments. It was so slight when we opened it in the morning and gone when we slept on it that night.

This mattress has changed everything. I sleep soundly and wake up refreshed with no more pressure points or pain. I just noticed that my hand is no longer in a fist it's open and relaxed. My husband said, he use to wake up when I tossed and turned like a fish out of water. Now I sleep without turning over and over.

I did alot of research and looked at top brand mattress's that cost alot more. Great price. This is the best... and most confrontable sleep we've had in a long time.

I've had this bed for about 6 months now. I travel frequently, and loved staying in hotels because my old mattress was so horrible. Now I can't stand sleeping anywhere but my bed!

The mattress was very well packaged, and yes it smelled for a week or so - but after a day of airing out it was good enough to sleep on. I didn't get very good sleep for the first week anyway because I woke up everytime I moved in the middle of the night and the new mattress didn't react the way I was used to my old mattress reacting.

The bed seems to "break in" and become less stiff after about a month or so. Now when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I slept so deeply that I became part of the mattress overnight. I wake up with no aches or pains, refreshed, and ready to get up and go. And every night when I climb into bed, I look forward to sinking into the foam and forgetting my day. And the cats can have a wrestling match at the end of the bed at 2am without shaking me awake!

At the price offered, it cannot be beaten!

I've had this bed for 18 months now. I stand by my previous review. This bed is the biggest reason I hate traveling now. I've not woken up with an ache or pain from poor sleeping since I got this bed, and the price is still well below that of a conventional mattress. No sags or problems - still as wonderful as it was 14 months ago when I wrote my first review.

What are you waiting for?

For years I have had a down feather bed under my sheet for added comfort and a cozy, cloud like experience. The problem is that they are difficult to clean... and expensive. Recently one of my dogs had an "accident" on the bed and that was the end of my featherbed. I ordered this mattress pad from Amazon to "tide me over" until I found time to shop for a replacement. I ordered it one day, it arrived less than 24 hours later and was on my bed that night. It is great... soft, comfy, washable and a real bargain at twice the price. I have not washed it yet so we'll see.

My husband's back hurts from our bed (we have already bought 2 new mattresses, including a sleep number bed and nothing helps) so thought I'd get this mattress pad to see if that would help at all. I had an Amazon gift card, so it was basically free :)

The mattress pad is very soft, very cushy. I had read another review which complained about the seams - we could feel the seams with our hands, but could not feel them with our bodies while sleeping - we don't have any complaints about the seams. My biggest complaint is that the mattress pad does not stay put - even with the elastic, it rides up to the top of the bed. Between the pad itself and the elastic that holds it under the mattress is flimsy material that does nothing to keep it in place. Our old, much less expensive mattress pad has several bands of elastic between the mattress pad and elastic under the mattress and holds the pad in place much better.

Alas, the mattress pad did not help my husband's back, but like I said, it was basically free. We are going back to our old mattress pad, which at least stayed in place. For sale - cheap! Only used one month!

This pad fit perfectly. Doesn't shift and is large enough to fit even my deep pocket queen mattress. Very plush and comfortable. The only drawback is that I could feel the heavy stitching through my sheets. After a few more nights, we became used to it and it wasn't as noticeable. I would highly recommend this product.

I was so surprised at how beautiful and soft and comfy this mattress pad was when I opened the package. It is a much nicer product than I expected and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a extra nice mattress pad.

I was gladly surprised by the plushness of this cover. It added a much needed soft layer to my mattress. I bought a full sized cover but it turned out to be a little bit too big, so I had to buy some pins to make it fit better. It's also very deep, which made it get out of place a bit. All in all, a pretty good investment, if you erroneously bought a mattress that doesn't really suit you that well.

I should have noticed this. I guess I will have to cancel. Granted it is not the most common size, but that is why I am shopping online - and certainly not to wait 4-6 weeks.

This is the best mattress pad I've purchased. I've tried to get away with cheap ones thinking that it didn't really matter cuz it was under the sheet anyway. However, one tore the first time I stretched it on. Another one wasn't deep enough and kept coming up. This one has MORE THAN ENOUGH room for a deep mattress and our memory foam topper. It stretches on easily and feels nice enough to just sleep on top of it! I'll stick to this one....if I ever need another one!

I love my new mattress pad b/c it's thick enough and fits on a water bed specific mattress which is an odd size. It's soft and fluffy and adds comfort to our bed.

It's a mattress cover. Good price, good quality. Held up well even after several washes. A good way to go if you have a mattress that needs to be covered.

wish it was just a little bit more cushioned but it did make a huge difference. I liked my firm mattress but i used to feel the springs! this pad solved that. i also wish the sides were more taught on the sides, it wraps around and under the mattress well, but hangs a bit loose. Definately wont slip off though. I think its that way in case you have a bigger in height than usual mattress?

I slept on a waveless waterbed for years. When the waterbed started to leak, I said never again. Then, as a temporary bed, I used an Aerobed for a couple of years, still fitting in my waterbed frame. Of course, that then started to leak air and was a disaster so I needed a real bed. I saw a memory foam mattress at a big box store, but it was for a king sized bed and I needed a Cal King. So I did lots of research and found this bed. I was a bit surprised by the price, I thought it was way too low. As a result I was a bit apprehensive about ordering the bed.

I tried out a Tempurpedic bed and loved it, but the price was well above what I could afford to spend. I also thought ordering a bed over the Internet was a bit risky, but being desperate I decided to do it. I am so glad I did!

My sister and I got the bed unrolled (didn't expect it to look like a giant carpet!) and put it in the bed frame. There was some smell, but not overpowering, really hardly noticible. The bed filled out in about 2 hours. The first night I laid on the bed it felt a bit hard, but as I laid on the bed it got softer. I slept pretty well, and was surprised the next day that I felt refreshed. I haven't felt like that in a long time. As of today I've had the bed a week and it dawned on me that I've had more energy and had fewer body aches than I've had in a long time. My dog even sleeps better on this bed!

The bed is a true California King. Make sure you measure your frame before you buy to be sure your frame is a Cal King. This would be expensive to have to return!

I feel this mattress is a great value for the money. Oh, yes I had great customer service. I asked that the vendor supply me with tracking information, they responded in minutes! I am a very happy customer looking to spend years with this bed.

I am so very happy with that decision. Not only do I sleep through the night, I also have been told by my husband that I actually stay in the same place where I start sleeping, and he has noticed zero snoring since we have been using this glorious memory foam bed. Come to think of it, I haven't noticed him snoring either! I can't wait to go to bed every night....really. It's truly amazing and has literally changed my life.

We let the mattress sit in the garage for a few days. I would highly recommend airing it out for a full week. It definitely has a heavy-duty smell to it. It smells different than other smells, but we think of it like a new car. It's gonna have that smell for a while. The benefits far outweigh the smell.

I purchased this mattress about 3 months back. I previously had a California King spring mattress and it was starting to sag after about 6 years. I thought all the California King mattresses were of the same size and so did not measure this one for fit before purchase. When I got it home, I found out that it did not fit the old bed frame/box. It sticks out about 8 inches and is 3-4 inches thinner than a regular California King. The other complaint I have is that the pillow top kind of wrinkles at some of the points and that shows through the bed covers (which do not fit it properly any how because of the size difference).

But I would say it still meets our needs since I haven't had back ache ever since I purchased this mattress. Me and my wife sleep better and deeper. I would have given it a 5 star if it was not for those size and wrinkle issues. I am content with my purchase at the price that it was bought.

I wasn't sure what to expect considering the low price but we were pleasantly surprised! We love it! We wanted a firm mattress, and it is firm alright(we do have the mattress on a plywood platform), and yet supremely comfortable. The memory foam top isn't as squishy as it looks in the picture, but you can definitely feel your body settling in and being supported. It's soothing and relaxing to lie down and feel the foam conforming underneath you, like being firmly cradled. I used to wake up with backaches, but not anymore! I don't know how it compares to the thicker mattresses that cost three times as much - but if you're looking for a good mattress that won't break the bank this is an exceptional value!
