UNEVEN and UNCOMFORTABLE
If you like a bed that pushes your body into the center with raised edges, than this is the bed for you. A bed should be flat. This bed was designed by someone who never even tried to lie down in it. The design is totally flawed. My biggest fears were buying an air bed that leaked, not one that puts strain on your body because it is not flat. Horrible design. F. Waste of money.
I slept on this product
I actually bought this as a gift for my brother & sister-in-law who don't have a spare bedroom in their home. If I want to spend time with them and enjoy my three nephews, I have to sleep on an airbed in their livingroom. However, last time I visited them I woke up around 2AM with these two, huge, bulging masses on either side of me and I was on the ground. Needless to say, that airbed had bitten the dust. So, I replaced it with this queen size Wenzel Insta-Bed. It took about 90 seconds to inflate and I slept comfortably for the three nights I stayed with them. I liked that it was nice and high off the ground, didn't have that icky vinyl smell, and I never once had a problem with the bed loosing air. The morning I left, the bed deflated easily and I packed it back into it's little sleeping bag sized holder. For me, this is a nice product and it made a nice gift.
Stood the test of time!
I purchased this in December 2009 and realized I had never reviewed it. I have had two different air mattresses in the past: An Aerobed purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond and an unknown brand purchased at BJ's Warehouse. Both mattresses developed tiny leaks after one or two uses and, despite diligently repairing every leak, a new one quickly developed. After reading the reviews of this brand, I decided to give it a try. So far, no leaks, my husband and I slept comfortably through the night, and it was simple to inflate and deflate. After almost a year of occasional use (probably used six times in eight months), I can confidently declare this one to be a winner.
ok for an air mattress, but let's not pretend it's a real bed
I thought this bed was more comfortable than other air mattresses I have tried. I appreciated its height off the ground and the ease of pumping and deflating. We bought this bed primarily for house guests, and slept on it ourselves for several nights after a recent move. We found that it sagged in the middle even after one night. I am amazed that others who reviewed this bed did not have to put air in every night, because ours was definitely not firm when we woke up. There was no obvious leak, but I suppose there could have been one that we could not detect. We returned the bed and opted for a guest mattress instead.
No regrets...
I had family visiting for a week and I gave up my bedroom. I slept on the air mattress, and it was surprisingly comfortable, I didn't even miss my bed. I woke up feeling rested. Easy to inflate and deflate. I highly recommend this product...

The single most uncomfortable night of my life
I bought this mattress based on the reviews and because it was an inexpensive option ... which was appealing since we use an air mattress less than a dozen nights in a year. We had a Simmons that lasted for years before it started to leak and I should have gone with that brand again because this one is crazy uncomfortable. In fact, it does everything you hope an air mattress won't do: it leaks air during the night, it rolls you toward the middle, it has these insanely huge tubular ridges that run down the length of it that made me feel like I was sleeping on a dozen of those foam swimming pool noodles.

My bad that I didn't try it immediately ... I didn't use it until the return period was up. Now I own a large, lumpy, leaky potato chip that I can't sleep on. So bad, I wouldn't even give it to a thrift store ...
Great Value
I bought this to use nightly as a bed while I am in the process of relocating for my job. The product is just as described and I'm completely satisfied. The built in pump is convenient and the bed inflates within 5 minutes. I've had it up for 4 days now and I haven't needed to re-inflate it. Even if it does lose a bit of firmness, it isn't a hassle to refresh it since the built in pump will take care of it rather quickly.
Exceeded expectations!
I borrowed an Aerobed from a friend but it had a leak that would cause me to have an aching back by morning. I decided to buy this brand instead even though I'd never heard of it. So far no leaks and my guests have found it very comfortable. I love that the electric pump is built-in. I especially love that the cord tucks into a compartment with its own door because I have a cat that loves to chew on cables.
Very Disappointed
We purchased this airbed from CMS Worldwide Sales (CMS) and would never recommend working with this company. Their customer service was terrible. When we discovered the bed didn't hold air properly, we followed Amazon's instructions for contacting the seller and making a return. CMS didn't respond to multiple emails and phone calls over the course of a month. When I finally got a hold of them, they said it sounded like a problem with the valve, and I should put the bed in the trunk of my car for 3 days so that the heat would cause the valve to expand and then seal properly. After following their advice (which did not solve the problem), I called again and did not hear back from them even after multiple calls. When I did get through another month later, I was told that there was nothing they could do about it because it had been more than 30 days since I made the purchase. This was especially frustrating since it took over 2 months to get through to someone at the company. I believe we received a faulty product; however, I am most disturbed by the unprofessional and inconsiderate service we received from CMS Worldwide Sales.
very comfortable
comfortbale, but need to inflate often. still good for transition, however, it is not suitable for long-duration sleep.

Coleman Queen-Sized Quickbed with Wrap 'N' Roll Storage

• 48 coils for consistent support
• Heavy-duty PVC with a soft suede top for comfort
• Wrap 'N' Roll system for hassle-free storage
The Coleman Queen-Sized Quickbed is a great choice for camping, overnight guests, or anywhere you need an extra bed. Measuring 78" long by 60" wide when inflated (fitting standard queen-sized sheets), the Quickbed is made of heavy-duty, puncture-resistant PVC, with 48 coils inside and a soft suede top for extra comfort. The Quickbed is easy to inflate and deflate, thanks to Coleman's extra-wide Advanced Double Lock Valve. Like all Coleman inflatable products, this Quickbed features Coleman's Airtight System, guaranteed not to leak. And the built-in Wrap 'N' Roll storage system makes packing and storing quick and easy.
Large enough to easily accommodate two adults (or four small children), this queen-size Quickbed gets its name from Double-Lock valves that allow it to inflate 10 times quicker than air beds with pinch valves. And if you think inflating time is quick, when morning rolls around you'll find that, thanks to the Double-Lock valves, the air beds deflate 20 times faster as well. Keep one of these queen-size flocked air beds around for camping trips, unexpected guests, or kids' slumber parties (the mattress will accommodate fitted or flat queen-size sheets). The heavy-duty PVC construction is designed to endure all sorts of abuse, but if anything should happen, a repair kit is included. The green-flocked rayon top can be a little prone to dust, but it does add warmth and softness for colder nights. The air bed can hold up to 600 pounds. Its 56 coils and 6-inch side gussets provide support and, unless you sit down from a height, keep you from bumping the ground. Pump sold separately. One-year limited warranty. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

Easy setup and roll up
Boought this item for a family camp out. It was pretty easy to fill with air. Held air all week long without any problems. When tear down started it was easy to roll up and put in the roll storage that is attached to it.
2 for 2 wont hold air.
I don't know if its a bad batch or what but within 3 hours of inflation it needs to be topped off again. This is with no weight on it at all. I returned that one for another and the same issue.
Coleman Quickbed fails
The first night the mattress lost some air, the second night I was on the floor in 4 hours. I checked all around with soapy water, the valve seemed OK and could not find a leak. However, it lost air just sitting around so I tossed it out. What a waste! I have an older one(green) which is still great, but too narrow. This one has thinner PVC and is made in China. I am going to TRY to find a brand not made in China. RIGHT!
Poor quality...stay away from buying this.
We bought two coleman air beds. One Queen size and the other twin size. Both are of poor quality. Queen one - two gone now. after first one's air leakage, we tried to return it but there was no return policy on that. Only replacement was entertained, so we got stuck with it and got a replacement. The second one has air leak now. Customer service is also very poor, nearly 45 mins of wait time and no response. I did not expect this from a company like Coleman. I don't know what to do other than putting it in trash. Twin one - first one was replaced due to the same reason as above. Have to wait and see when that will reach the same state.
Used about 10 times, then leaked at a mold seal
Leaked till flat on the hard, cold, tent floor middl eof the night, of course. After reading more recent reviews here I think these latest models have some issues. I would buy another brand. Until it leaked though it was a great alternative to theramrests for car campling, but 10 times use is a waste of time and materials. We also tried to reapir the leak without success.

Super Awesome Indeed!
GREAT GREAT GREAT Deal... I bought this for my mother during her visits and it worked better than I had hoped... Very compact and excellent design. Tall enough for her to have no problems getting up in the morning..
Will never buy another air mattress
I have never had a good experience with air mattresses. The always deflate, or they get a hole, or they are uncomfortable. Before I purchased this one, I read ALOT of reviews. I had never heard of this brand and was a little nervous about spending so much money on it. After my experience with this one, I will never buy another mattress. Even if this one 'breaks', I will come back to this brand.

We used the mattress for company that stayed with us for a week. After that we left it up for almost 2 months. It was used everyday and we never had to inflate it. It is extremely comfortable, and I almost prefer it to our pillowtop mattress. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an air mattress, especially if you are looking to use it long term.
So Far Great
I would like to give this product a thumbs up for initial impression. I recently had company staying at my home for approximately one week. The bed in that time frame worked great but had to just inflate a tad bit every other day but it held air really well. So in all honesty a fair assessment would be after several uses but for the money I would not hestitate buying another one.
Five stars for about Five Weeks.
I purchased this Air Mattress to go camping with and it worked perfectly quick inflating and deflating I couldn't complain about anything at all. Then I stayed at a friends house while my house was being remodeled. Sleeping on this Air Mattress everyday for a month I actually preferred it to my TempurPedic bed. The Air Mattress can easily be adjusted firmer and softer with a twist of a knob and a push of a button... Now the bad part, one of the final days I needed it I noticed there was a random high hard tube in it (a chamber must have broke and created a super chamber) its still useable just not the amazing five star purchase it was... In Conclusion its a great value for occasional use it feels better than any mattress I've ever slept on, but it is an Air Mattress you shouldn't be sleeping on it everynight, if you have to you've probably made some poor choices in life.
unsatisfied
Received a damaged product contacted company and it was replaced immediatly but replacement was also damaged have written company three times still waitting for a respose.

Ideal for most of your household pumping needs.
I got this pump for the purpose of inflating a double-hight queen size air mattress. For the mattress of that size you really need an electric pump, because your lungs or even a decent mechanical pump will take way too long. This electric pump does a great job of inflating a mattress of that size very quickly and thoroughly. In my estimation it does not take longer than a couple of minutes max for the job to get done. The pump is also great for several other around-the-house inflatable objects, such as beach balls and small size inflatable pools. It will probably work well with a larger size pool as well, but I have not tried it out with those so I don't feel completely qualified to comment. On the other hand this pump is not suited well for pumping your bicycle or car tires - it lack both the requisite adapter as well as the the adequate pressure. For those jobs an air-compressor pump is much better suited. Furthermore, sine it relies on electric outlet for power this pump is not suitable for outdoor and camping use. This pump is also very competitively priced, but the price does not indicate low quality. On the contrary, the pump is very well made and will probably last a lifetime.
The best Air Pump ever!
If you buy an inflitable bed, you need an electric pump. It can inflate the air-bed in just 3 minutes, and deflate it in 2-minutes. It would take you hours to blow it up manually.
Coleman 120V Electric Quick Pump
Fills up fast, good that doesnt need batteries, bad that its not rechargeable, good works by just plugging in, bad makes a high noise.
the pump is great
I bought a Coleman 4 in 1 mattress, and wondered whether I needed the pump - after all, it cost almost as much as the mattresses (but was not expensive - right at $20.) Asked my daughter, and she said "yes! you'll melt part of the mattress if you try using a blowdryer, and it's just worth it". She was right - it didn't cost much, but I was concerned about storage space.

It is not very large, so storing it is not a big issue. It quickly inflated my mattresses (I think it was under 2 minutes - but didn't actually use a timer), and is great for deflating, also.

So if you're wondering if you really need it, I'd say yes.
So loud it wakes up the neighborhood
You will NOT be able to tolerate the horrible high-pitched screech this thing makes. And it feels cheap. The screw-on attachment somehow came off and blew inside the mattress. I hope to never use this thing again. Alas.

Can I use an air mattress for a lake float?

cottonlily84 aksed: I would like to have a big float, maybe even big enough for 2 people to float around the lake when we're camping. But most floats are reclining and I would like to lie on my stomach too. So I was thinking an air mattress would be thick enough to lie out of the water and allow us to lie flat. But will it work?

cricketlady answered: It should work---the teenagers around here have tried the air matress and really liked it.
