It was very good for about 2 weeks then I noticed the foam started to soften. I still use it but I wish it stayed firmer for a longer period of time.

After reading all of the reviews I felt certain that I had finally found some relief for my bad back. I have degenerative disc disease in my L4-L5 and some nights it is hard to get comfortable for a good night's rest. The product came as described but I guess it was too soft and it made sleeping more painful. I'm sure it works for many others and I was praying that it would work for me but on the 3rd night I couldn't take it anymore- I had to get up and take it off my mattress.

I was a little iffy about buying this one because of the bad reviews on the smell. Personally I do not think memory foam smells bad (maybe I'm one of the select few that think that) but I let my memory foam lay out for about 6 hours before I put it on my bed (when I say bed, I mean futon). I didn't notice the smell at all after that. I am very pleased that I bought this and am really happy that it was cheap - I'm dutch :). I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't mind the smell of memory foam.

I am pregnant and my husband has been complaining about poor sleep forever because he has a deviated septum and congestion issues. This mattress has been amazing on my back and has helped him sleep better through the night. We absolutely love it. It arrived quickly and it took less than 24 hours to uncurl into its proper form. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a softer, more supportive mattress but doesn't have the cash to get a whole new one.

They don't make mattresses correctly like they used to. Today's one-siders are too FIRM from all the springing--to make them last longer--and they've tried to offset this with layers of foam on top. Even sewing MORE foam on the outside (pillowtops). Doesn't work! So you have throngs of people buying these "toppers" trying to soften up their new 1000 dollar mattresses that they can't get any sleep on. It's fruitless. So now everyone has a mattress with a 10-20 yr warranty, and that you don't have to flip....that you can't a decent nights sleep on! 99% of the sleeping public is totally in the dark about whats going on here and it is a travesty..Corporate america has screwed everything up again. Bring back the flippable mattresses with their softer springing and cotton padding! The body needs to SINK IN to be able to relax so u can get some sleep--that softness must come from the springs themselves--and it doesn't with these one-siders they've have been making for the last dozen years or so. All of today's springboard one-siders hold all your weight on top. They are totally overdamped. Even if they are labeled "plush" or "pillowtop" they are garbage. Now, this does NOT mean that a Tempurpedic or other springless mattress will give you your sleep either. It also doesn't mean that everyone is sensitive to the shortcomings of today's mattresses. I am---but I am certainly not alone. In fact I explained this whole "theory" to a sales manager at a Sleepy's and he said right back to me that I was the first person to figure this out! This is THE TRUTH people. Go buy a used old-school 2 sided mattress at an estate sale (one that is lightly worn preferably) if u don't believe me. You'll be sleeping like a baby in no time.

I think we should have gotten the 1 or 2 inch but I wasn't sure if that would be comfy enough at the time. It is as expected though. No issues just wasn't right thickness for us.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas because he was experiencing back pain. He's 6'3", about 250. It didn't take long to unroll and the chemical smell only lasted about a day, but we slept on it right then and there. We both enjoyed it at first. It's been a month. He still loves it. He still has no back pain. I, however, can't seem to get comfortable on the thing. My biggest problem is that I'm largely a stomach sleeper. I figured it wouldn't be much of a problem, I'd just sleep on my side. I still can't find a comfortable position. I continuously find myself rolling back to my stomach to get a good nights sleep. I am unsuccessful.

Also, if you spend a lot of time using your bed as a couch, this might not be the best idea. It's hard to get up from. And if you enjoy this mattress, you'll probably have a hard time not falling asleep.

I followed the very simple directions when I received my Visco2. I let it expand & open & the very faint smell was gone when I put it on my bed. I purchased the queen & it fit perfectly. We are very satisfied with our Amazon.com purchase of a Sleep Studio Visc02 Ventilated 2" Thick Memory Foam Mattress Enhancer. Prior to sleeping on our new purchase, we both had various body aches from our firm mattress. Now we are sleeping much better and waking up feeling rested.

I was very skeptical when i first received the package and opened up the pad. It was all compressed, bet up, and had very dense uncomfortable points all over it. Two days later, i can honestly barely tell that it's not my parents $5000 tempurpedic mattress. Incredibly comfortable yet also plenty supportive. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a real memory foam bed. Unless you tell someone it's a pad they honestly won't even know the difference.

smell gone within a day and works great. i was skeptical at first b/c i have a pillow top mattress and was afraid that i'll lose support, but 2 inches of Visco2 provided just the right amount of comfort and cushion without losing the support of my bed. This is a great product to have if your bed is too firm, and it doesn't get hot which is a plus. i bought a cal king and the fit is almost perfect on my bed.

ps. For those of you who are deciding between Visco and Visco2, the small extra cost for a higher density (gives longer life), cooler sleep (doesn't trap as much body heat) and not having to deal with the odor issue is well worth it, so don't skimp on your sleep!

We are renting a furnished apartment where the owners pushed two twin beds together and called it a "king" - friends in similar situations recommended we get a topper to cover the bump or cleavage in the middle of our bed.
The topper works great and covers the bump completely. It does have a bit of a toxic smell to it. I am a stomach sleeper and have had to change the way I sleep because of the odor. It's not the end of the world, and the smell has started to dissipate over time - hopefully it will go away all together soon.

Purchased this pad as our mattress is too firm and my back was killing me every morning. Have been sleeping on this pad for over 2 weeks and no more back pain! I had my doubts when we put it on the bed, it seemed to thin to make a difference. Boy was I wrong! I was immediately more comfortable when I got in bed and felt much better in the morning than before we had the pad. Our dogs love it too, they now prefer the bed over the couch!

This 3" king-size foam topper was a great deal at $50+. After unpacking and allowing time to decompress, it expanded to the full 3" thick. I find it more comfortable than the memory foam topper I had before, and All Sleep was a great seller to do business with, sending additional email with contact information and a follow-up post card. I would recommend turning this topper at alternate intervals to your mattress turning (for the same reason as turning your mattress), because I have noticed that over time it compresses more readily in the area that you sleep on it, than it does in the middle or head and feet area. Overall, a good product for the price.

We have had a memory foam topper for a couple of years - it was time to replace. I was hesitant to order this based on a couple of the reviews - mainly those stating that it is NOT memory foam. Just simply wonderful. The pad doesn't have a strong odor, which I worried about after reading other reviews. It unfolded and popped into shape within moments of getting the plastic off. It's just the right height for my king sized bed! It doesn't add so much that you can't still use a normal sheet, yet adds more than enough padding for a peaceful nights sleep.

I bought this a few weeks ago and my wife and I are happy we bought it. I no longer have back pains, wake up in the morning to crack my back, can sleep on my back now instead of my side for comfort, and oddly enough snore less. This was a great investment, for 130 bucks i dont care if i have to buy one of these every couple years if it doesnt hold shape. It's worth it.

It fit my matrress perfectly and only took an hour maybe for it to expand to is original size.

This foam topper is wonderful. It fits my cal-king perfectly and my sheets even fit nicely over it without needing super deep pockets. The only thing I would say is that it doesn't quite control the temperature like I thought it would with all the vent holes. I still get hot during the night and have to roll over to a cooler spot or have a fan on at night. Otherwise, for my back problems and just desire for a super supportive bed, this is it. The visco definitely makes a difference. I had a non-visco before and it just wasn't the same. Everyone who sits on my bed says how comfortable it is. I fall right asleep.

My wife and I have back problems so we bought a high end mattress, ove $1000. After sleeping on other beds on trips we decided it was really too firm so we got this mattress topper. It is incredible, sleep like a baby, I notice my wife does not move around as much, or make as much noise sleeping, and sleeps soundly. It has just the right firmness for our backs and creates no pressure points so you sleep longer in one position getting more deep sleep. We got a King Size, rolled it out and it did not look big enough, don't worry, it takes about an hour to expand so let it sit on the bed before putting the mattress cover and sheets back on it. I actually "Crave" sleeping in the bed more. When I rolled it out, and let it puff up, I then took a test ride, fell asleep immediately at 3PM it was sooo comfortable. I did not notice any smell as reported by others. I cannot recommend this product enough, and it is a great value.

Like many out there was thinking "Memory foam that is only a gimic" Well I now am a believer in it.

This is very good item for a person with back pain. It is almost like sleeping on air. The items so worth the money since have had no pain at night and even sleeping complete 8 hours.

If you have a bad back get this.
If you do not have a bad back also worth getting.

I bought the foam topper so that my futon mattress which had collapsed in the middle would stop sending me crying to chiropractor. The mattress is firm without being too firm for my girlfriend who is on the opposite end of the firm/squooshy spectrum from my tastes. I rather enjoy the sensation of being held up for a moment before the heat of my body sinks me into the mattress. Getting unstuck from sinking down into the foam is a little interesting at times, and sometimes I wonder if my shoulders are just too cold to sink in as they seem to get a little rounded in the mornings.

All in all an excellent purchase. Very little odor which was gone before I really noticed it, and the mattress seems to be holding up well and it works for my preferences for firm and my girlfriend's preferences for soft.
