I like firm mattresses, but my mattress has become just a little too firm for me. This mattress topper seems just right. I've only changed the sheets a couple of times so I'm not sure how much the stray foam bits will be an issue, but it seemed manageable. I do wish this topper had a cover, but I knew when I bought it that it didn't, so I'm satisfied.

This is just a standard dept store style urethane foam eggcrate with 1/4" of latex of unknown quality laminated to it. 1/4" just isn't enough to make a difference. If you are shipping for latex you should be aware that a lot of latex products being sold by net vendors like A and OS just aren't really latex, it is a real buyer beware situation.

A worthwhile addition to any non-foam mattress. As Igor pointed out there are quite a lot of tiny, loose particles that are to be found when you unpack this. Just give it a couple of good shakes, and be prepared to vacuum/sweep.
I find this firmer than memory foam mattress pads, which I prefer. I don't care for the sinking feeling you experience with memory foam. It's much cooler too, no heat build up.
I've been using this for almost a year now, and it has held up perfectly, no tears or degradation of any kind.
If you're looking for a good foam pad, you can't beat this for the price.

Purchased twin Latex Foam Topper , knew it was not to cover full size of mattress but it is way small .5 1/2 inches too narrow. Should have purchase full size and re-cut excess width .

Well made product that does what it is advertised to do and that's a bargain for the price. I have used it to provide a softer surface to my futon and it works great. Based on my past experiences, I would recommend this latex topper as far superior to cellulose memory foam toppers of comparable cost, mainly because there is no uncomfortable heat build-up with this topper.

I bought this product as an alternative to traditional and memory foam mattress toppers because my husband doesn't like the heat that they retain. I was also looking for natural latex foam as I was concerned that synthetic/natural mixes would be less durable or more likely to retain heat and indeed, this topper does not retain any heat at all.

Initially, the topper took some getting used to - it does not seem that soft and it feels quite "wobbly" when you first lie down on it. However, I've noticed that I am sleeping better through the night and most importantly, I am not getting any aches and pains from pressure points.

That said, there are a couple of reasons why I didn't give this product 5 stars:
1. there was a tear in the foam when I unpackaged it. However, because it is in a corner, I don't think that the tear will get worse.
2. unlike memory foam, which dampens the movements in bed, the topper seems to amplify the slightest movement that my husband and I make. Every time one of us moves or turns in bed, the entire topper "jiggles" and it actually makes my husband dizzy. However, this is affecting him more than it affects me.

This product is a great purchase for the price and overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
