We bought this cover for our futon with the idea it would be washable, that is wipe off with clean cloth etc. It is waterproof so preserves the mattress from wear and odors as this futon is used every day in a high traffic area. We also have dogs who do occassionally get up on it.
The cover arrived surprisingly quickly and was packaged very well in an intact box. We were able to easily fit it on the 8 inch mattress with no problems. The seams are sewn well with neat corners and zipper.

When the mattress was set into place, we smoothed out the seat and back and it does look alot like the pictures. The color is true to our computer monitor so we were happy with that too.

Over all it is tough, so great for hard wear, and easy to clean as well as very pretty (looks like leather). We would reccommend it and would buy another.
