Mwah answered: I have just fitted out a fully furnished 1 bedroom investment apartment and it cost around $9,000. That included all furniture for bedroom, living and dining, as well as all appliances such as a fridge, dryer, TV, stereo. This also included everything needed to fit out the kitchen such as kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc.
Depends where you shop and how much you can do without when you first start out.
