4 Macrame Lace Curtains Products
Three teams were allowed to "spend" no more than $250 and furnish a sample dorm room at The Salvation Army Thrift Store at 10174 S.E. 82nd Ave. After a few tips from a professional decorator, they hit the aisles and seven hours later, ta-da! Three dorm rooms with actual decorating themes: "The Goose Hollow," in neutral colors tied together with red accessories; "Room To Be Retro," a nostalgic look with a bunk bed draped in lace curtains; and "Seaside Cove," sporting nautical touches in several shades of blue.
The finished rooms will be displayed at the store from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Aug. 31. The public is invited to view and vote for their favorite. The winning team will receive a Salvation Army store credit for $500.
