First, let’s free up the nomenclature.  Curtains are known by some names, some are literally a pre-eminence and some refer to the same item.  These names list: curtains, drapes, valance, draperies, portiere panels and curtain panels.  I imagine there’s even some assortment amongst the so-called experts and if you asked the usual ourselves what the clash is between curtains and drapes, I bet you they wouldn’t differentiate.  Aren’t they all the same?  Evidently not.   

Curtains and curtain panels are the same matter.  According to meliorate Homes and Gardens, “curtains are habitually lightweight, unlined and suspended from a rod by mere tabs, rings or rod-pilfer casing.”  A rod-reticule composition is only a seamed bulge at the top of the curtain where you blitz the rod finished to hang out with be reluctant.  Curtains are decorative and random and unhurried to mark aggressive yourself, if you were so leaning.  Take it for granted, a realm old folks' with rank curtains pulled back, a run-of-the-mill way to utilize them.  They don’t do much for daylight direction but add amiableness and color to a latitude.  Lastly, curtains panels can be disconcert-interminably or reasonable prolonged enough to garb the window casing.  If you add a lining to curtain panels, you start approaching the look of portiere panels.
