Yup, it was scary, but it was, nonetheless challenging. And four weeks of prime time TV was just what we needed to put as back on the U.K. radar having lived for the best part of four years in Canada. All the walls are a light khaki tan and the ceilings are white. The big window curtains are dark brown and the carpet is a khaki color too =S So it's a very... brown apartment. (Still nice though! It's not ugly browns!)

Or accessorize with those colors with artwork etc.

The floor is tile that has a medium brown and another color that escapes me. I was thinking chocolate brown floor to ceiling curtain on the one window, three semi big paintings side-by-side on the wall (the biggest, longest wall in bathroom) with brown frames and a pale yellow here and there and I'm stuck on the rug color...what other color combinationscould I go with?
*Sombra* answered: I think the 'bright minty green' is probably going to be the star of the show, so keeping everything else low-key is probably best.
I don't like brown in bathrooms. I prefer bathrooms to be bright and airy, so I'd probably use a lot of white (picture frames, etc.) but if you think the brown is a better option for the space, why not?
I'm not sure you need another color ... if so, maybe some blue that works with the colors already going on?
