Love themI wasn't expecting too much when I ordered these, but they are buttery soft and the quality was great! And wow my bedroom is now pitch black, no light gets through what so ever! Yay for being able to now sleep in past 6am on weekends! :)
not what i was looking forI bought these curtains because they had so many positive reviews. Yes, they are good for blacking out but I was looking for insulating curtains to keep my heating costs down. The colors were off - the brown really repulsed me. And the texture kind of awful. They reminded me of ladies stretch pants. I called the company and they were helpful answering my questions and emailing me information - for that 2 stars. To help with insulating my windows I would have to attach them as close to the wall as possible - logical but not how curtain rods are designed. They sent me info with a percentage about insulating that made no sense to me whatsever - and I got the impression that the man I talked to really didn't know what it meant either. I returned them all and amazon has graciously refunded my money.
It works well for blacking out any light and the quality is good enoughThe curtain doesn't cost very much so don't expect something super fancy. On the other hand for the price the quality if pretty good and it definitely works well for blacking out light. I was hoping it would also reduce some noise, but in my opinion it made zero difference with regards to noise.
Works WellI bought the beige curtains. I'm sure the darker colored curtains probably keep out more of the light, but these work very well if you want a lighter colored curtain. My bedroom gets the morning sun which usually wakes me up. These curtains keep the room dark and have kept the cold out!! I'm planning to buy one for my bathroom window too to make the room even darker :)
the blackout works wellThe blackout aspect of the curtains works well and I am pleased,I will keep them.But... I am very disappointed in the the hemming,I bought for 2 windows and both sets of the curtains aren't even close to the hems being even,I am going to keep them but I am very disappointed in the hem line on both sets of curtains they are short on both sides of all the curtains and long in the middle,I would not buy them again.
