Older baby question - How is your baby's mood when he wakes from his naps?

My baby used to cry when he woke up but now that he is getting older (8 months) he usually babbles and baby talks in his crib until I come in and pick him up.

ratigy24 answered: My baby is 6 months and since 5 months, he usually wakes up and babbles. Before 5 months, he would only wake up screaming and crying. The only time he wakes up crying is if it's in the middle of the night which he RARELY does now. I think sometimes his gums are hurting him because he is teething or he might have gas or maybe he's just really hungry when he wakes up in the middle of the night screaming.

how can i get my baby used to sleeping in the crib?

he sleeps in the same room with us his crib is in our room not possible to get it any closer but it is a good ways away from us... he normally sleeps all night long but when he falls asleep and we put him in his crib he wont sleep all night and when he wakes up he wont go to sleep unless we put him in the bed and then he wont sleep until we are asleep so he knows that he is not getting back in his crib, he acts scared to be in the crib he wont go to sleep at night easily anymore because he knows hes going to his crib

Bella answered: Put all of his favorite toys in his crib, maybe even sleep with him in there (if you both fit the weight limit). It will make him feel comfortable. If you can't sleep in the crib with him, then sleep in the same room as him. Give him a bottle with his favorite juice or milk. The main idea is to get him to feel comfortable in the crib, and then he will be used to it and sleep in it all the time. i used to have this little game thing attached to my crib when i was younger, so i could play in my crib. You can get something like that at baby's r us maybe!!
